Turquoise & Diamond Jadau Stud Earrings

£115.00

One of our favourite things: the traditional Indian art of jadau setting showcased here in these turquoise stud earrings that are inset with diamonds.

Jadau refers to a traditional style of Indian jewellery involving intricate and delicate gold work, combined with precious and semi-precious gemstones.

The term "Jadau," which means "to insert," characterises the technique employed, where gemstones including diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and pearls are carefully embedded into the core gemstone, to further embellish a piece.

We hold immense admiration for this artistry, cherishing it for both its skilful craftsmanship and inherent beauty.

Materials: the earrings are made of gold plated sterling silver and are set with turquoise and diamonds.  The kundan setting around the inset diamond is 18K fine gold.

Details: the earrings have a post and butterfly fixture and the dimension of each stud is10 x 10 mm.
