Snake chains are made by tightly interlocking small, curved metal plated or bands to create a seamless chain..The process involves a machine that bends and joins the plates to form the chain, which is more complex and time-consuming than standard link chains. The resulting chain has a smooth, "silky" surface due to the tight weave and the way it reflects light.
