Ellie Jadau Carved Fluorite & Diamond Ring

£450.00

One of our favourite things: the traditional Indian art of jadau setting showcased here in this divine carved fluorite gemstone ring.

Jadau work jewellery is a traditional style of Indian jewellery making that involves intricate and delicate gold work combined with precious and semi-precious gemstones. The word "jadau" means "to insert" and in this style of jewellery gemstones (like for example diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and pearls) are in-set into a host gemstone to embellish the piece. We absolutely love this work and prize it for its craftsmanship and beauty.

Materials: this hand crafted ring is made of gold plated sterling silver and is set with carved fluorite and diamond.  The kundan setting around the inset diamond is 18K fine gold.
