Description
Katie's trips to Jaipur are centred around seeking out colourful gemstones with unusual hues and hand crafted forms. After several decades of working in India, her love for all things gemstone has only increased and defines the jewellery she creates.
These gemstone stud earrings are set with organically shaped, rose cut labradorite gemstones. A rose cut is one of the oldest styles of gemstone faceting originating in the sixteenth century. This cut has a flat base and a domed top with triangular facets, said to draw inspiration from the placement of petals on a rose-bud.
Materials: the stud earrings are made of gold plated sterling silver and are set with labradorite gemstones.
Details: the earrings have a traditional post and butterfly fixture and are 15 mm at their widest. The gemstones are faceted and specifically organic in shape. Ellie wears these earrings with our Aphrodite Cuff Bracelet.
