A change of season means a shift in how we wear colour. As the light softens and wardrobes turn to wool, cashmere and the joy of chunky knits, the gemstones that feel most at home are the ones with a little warmth to them.
This autumn, that means lots of colourful tourmaline, a Pomegranate favourite. Few gemstones echo so much of the season’s palette, from deep raspberry pinks through to honeyed golds and the soft greens of leaves on the turn. Alongside it sit amber-toned citrine and glowing orange mandarin garnet, colours made for catching the low autumn sun. For something deeper still, there’s a cabochon ruby the colour of ripe pomegranate seeds.
